@Wolfhawk46 Also mad respect for calling our baby by its proper name (you're indeed correct, it's Fifteen, not 15.)
Noted re: your thoughts on the included cables. For what its worth, we didn't include any USB cables specifically because the CMA Fifteen supports both USB-B andUSB-C inputs, and we didn't want to send any redundant/unnecessary cables to our users. But on a personal level, I do think you're correct — in the future we should include any and all cables that might be necssary/useful with our products. It's the least we can do for our customers. (Also for what it's worth, we also one day hope to completely phase out the USB-B inputs in our products. But we included the USB-B on the Fifteen solely to make it a universally compatible product, one that works with virtually any system our customers might have, and it goes without saying that many customers in the hifi scene still have USBU-B outputs from their computers.)
Also, totally right about the mini CD - we should indeed phase those out and move toward USB-drives with any necessary drivers/files put on those.
Finally, thank you for your frankness and honesty. You're indeed correct, the CMA Fifteen is certainly not a budget AMP/DAC. It's our flagship, aka the best product that we offer. If you're interested in Current Mode Amplification, and you want a product that will really bring out the best in any speakers/headphones you have, then the CMA Fifteen is for you. However, like you said, if you're interested in just a product that gets you 99% of the way there, then there are certainly other options out there that are more friendly on the wallet.
@Questyle not directly related to this device, but the mentioning of current mode amplification wets my appetite for the M15 again. Should take advantage of that reviewer code from you last year

But yeah, the USB B used by these audio products must be phased out. These relics are annoying.
