I had good results driving all sorts of headphones with the Fulla, including 300 and 600 ohm headphones like the HD 650 and DT 880! But yes, it certainly won't let them scale like better amps can. However, I did not experience peaks or harshness with the HD 650. It always sounded very smooth and not offensive at all.
