As a fan of both brands - happy owner of Emu Teak that you mention in the review and Soundmagic E10 and E11 in-ears as well as the TWS50 that I enjoy a lot, could you possibly comment of the soundstage of HP1000 vs Emu Teak? I have followed HP1000 for some time and am curious how they compare as Emu Teak are mu current point of reference.

Thank you for your kind comments. But to answer your question. I would consider the soundstage of the HP1000 a fraction bigger in all directions, but it lacks the open back design to make the highs feel airier and cleaner than the Teak. The Teak is like sitting in the mid row in an open air orchestra. The HP1000 like you are in the backrow but in a closed hall. Sometimes the HP1000 can achieve that open feeling though it is track dependant. The depth on both is more or less the same it's just the timbre of the HP1000 sometimes make sounds be able to sound further away due to it's mids.
