You're welcome Yes, the two share the same driver. Although the Sigma is a bit more of a specialty headphone. The sound-staging is really great, our brain really likes it when side-placed instruments are pushed forward instead of being located near the two ears. For some people, this benefit outweighs the frequency response deficiencies. As for me, I prefer the NB Lambda for being the better all-rounder.

I have not yet to try the Lambdas NB.
But it is true that the sigma does not suit me by exmple for the ROCK.
But I listen to that very rarely the ROCK except SPARKLEHORSE (R.I.P. ) : (
As against the classical, the symphonic and the baroque, I love.

If driven properly, the Sigma NB is actually quite good for rock, because of its boosted mid-bass.
