Thanks for review, BenF. Still I didn’t get one thing. It seems from your sound description and FR that GM200 is just pro 82 v2 with semi-open bass boost and additional mic. Could you comment, please? I’m especially interesting in bass response comparison.

You are welcome!
Pro 82 with semi-open bass boost doesn't sound nearly as good as GM200, and its FR is very different. Even the fully open BB on Pro 82 doesn't boost the bass as much as GM200, and the quality of the bass is severely affected.
There is also a huge dip in lower mids.
What Takstar was trying to do with GM200, is to create Pro 82 with Fostex TH900-like bass response - and they have gotten 90-95% there

Ok. It seems that GM200 has attached bass unlike pro 82 (bass boost fully open). And it's much better, which is not surprising.

P.S. IMO this Fostex FR graph reminds MSUR N650.

Hi, what is the soundstage like of this headphone? Pretty much i have only been using IEM's and i'm kinda interested in this headphone as i'm craving for a wide soundstage with a fun and satisfying bass boost that is not going to drown the mids too much.

Soundstage is wide and deep, very realistic - I love listening to live recordings on GM200. Sounds like GM200 is exactly what you need.
On the 11.11 sale it will be 55$ (with the "Head-Fi" code) in the TakstarAudio store - don't miss it!

My GM200 really isn’t that strong in bass, it’s much less than the tri i3 iem , I’m using a topping l30 to drive it. I got mine from amazon, did I see someone mention there were fakes out there? I’m having trouble justifying keeping this vs any of my 50$ iems

It has bass ports and came in the box above but doesn’t have awesome loud low clean bass , at all 😀 I’m kinda bummed , most my iems hit lower

It's hard to compare IEM to cans, most enthusiasts won't compare closed back to open back, they're different.
With bass, the amount of boost is personal. Some will see a few more db's as boosted, some feel that is still to flat.

I like the GM200 for gaming and general listening. They're not the bassiest of my cans, but for PC use that's a good thing. I found them a bit slow and bloated for metal, but good for almost everything else. I find the overall timbre to be easy going and clear.
