Having used both universal and custom, the fit with a custom makes a big difference in the bass department. VE are masters at custom fit. Excellent and fun read! Thanks!

Found this a very nice way to explain the Elysium, everyone that was interviewed lined up with exactly what I hear. And in the comparison section I learned a little more about a few IEMs I have not heard, and do not think I will need to hear them now.

The Elysium for me purchased after owning the Traillii for a few months did not make sense to many, the emphasis and more forward warmer intimacy of the mids as well as the overall timbre makes a terrific partner for the Traillii when vocals are involved.
