I use the Phonix since November and I have to say it really grows on you! I do not find the bass to be lacking, in fact to me the bass sounds more natural compared to the Odin which I owned before.
I'm sure many will agree with you @AlfeedE. I have a certain bass presentation - especially sub bass - that I look for in an IEM, and that's just not what Phönix is made to provide. It's still an exceptional IEM, just not quite in my lane.
Congrats @gLer very nice review and incredible pics!
I can’t stop listening Phönix tonight, I had 4h and this is the first full BA that I’m enjoying so much… I listened also EXT but I’d listen again tomorrow because Phönix catch my attention more with its emotional mids/presentation, so rich, lush, full of colors and shades.
OFC can’t have EXT sub bass but I found better texture and faster bass with a great cohesion from bass to highs as I love.
Phönix has many similarities with Aroma Thunder that I love.
I’d like to listen Trailli and Jewel also, but right now Phönix is an iem I’d like to own.
Im using AET07 and stock cable
Incredibly comprehensive, thorough and exceptionally well written as we have come to expect, although I nearly stopped reading at "No Metal or Hard Rock..."
