Great review! I've heard Zach's other headphones, and now I feel like I have a pretty solid feel for where the Vibro MKII falls in line sound-wise. I do love the timbre and body he is able to dial-in for acoustic instruments. For the price, this sounds like a total steal.
Nice review. Makes me want to get one. Oh wait I have one. Seriously they are great headphones. I highly recommend the case also. I got the fitted one and it fits like a glove with great protection. They are a little heavy but not really noticeably. I can use for hours at a time and I have some neck issues.
Great review...I had a blast listening to them at the Head-Fi meet in CT. I really enjoyed the sound....Lush & relaxed with a good amount of detail...very addicting IMHO.
I'd love to spend some quality time with these & some tracks I'm familiar with.
shout out to @taiden for such a timeless design of cups
He really nailed it from jump. The design is timeless. It will be a sad day when those cups cease to be produced. Glad to see them like the pictures above. Great review too @Stillhart
Le-gasp! Stillhart started a sentence with "But!" Just teasing I felt this review was very informative, but also reads like someone talking and explaining rather than following a stiff review format.
The ZMF Vibro seems like a pleasing departure from the more detailed/dry tuning I started out looking for in headphones, I think this would be a tonally rich compliment to my current setup. And GOSH THEY ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL, how did you take such clean photos?
Great review! I listened to these at this year's THE Show and I liked them. Hopefully there'll be another opportunity to listen to them again next year at CanJam or THE Show.
