As title suggests, wondering if anyone owns both pairs and can comment on how they compare. Lear Audio's BD4.2 (Custom) and Shure's SE846 (Universal) Pricepoints are similar and they both have got their special thing going for the bass. Shure's got their 'true subwoofer' driver and the BD4.2...

I have an out of warranty pair of the Shure SE846. The pin inside the MMCX connector on the left in ear monitor broke off when attaching or detaching a cable... Shure, as you know has a flat rate of 295 to replace it by sending it in...but they will keep my perfectly functional (not functional)...
