WOW on the Sangaku. Those who do not scroll to the bottom are missing out. I can testify it is a fantastic headphone amp especially with the Lcd-X. Apex amps have never gone on sale from what I can remember. ECP is the only headphone amp maker out of many that is on the same level as Apex.

I literally just ordered a Cayin IHA6 for my LCD3... Do you think it would be worth returning that sight unseen for the sangaku? I know millet is legendary, but never auditioned anything by apex.

Great amp, good choice. Was just listening to it last night, very musical and romantic presentation! I also like that it's small.

I'd also put EC in the same level as Apex, although they don't do hybrid designs.
