who here hates Proprietary connecters?

It depends on the connector. I don't dislike the Sennheiser HD6XX connector but I do dislike the old Hifiman SMC.

I also don't like when a manufacturer changes the wiring of an otherwise universal connector. Rosson, for example.

my pet hate is the sony WM-port connecter, and we all hate lightening

On the flipside, I loathed micro USB. No proprietary connector infuriated me as much as that standard
