Hi Shanling

I just updated my M1 and to Android Phones, there is no issue to pair via Bluetooth ,and control the M1 via my Android Phone.
Yes, the HibyLink APP on android phone, can only be connected to QQ, WeiBo, WeChat , which I had no issue about that, perhaps it can be extended to support other login.

I noticed today, the APP on my Android phone, doesnt update to the song which the M1 is playing. Is this normal, is it just me? or Is this a BUG?

As I said in first post, we are only running in BETA firmware, so sometimes the app on phone or player can missbehave.

Good afternoon friends.
Dear Shanling, mentioned possible problems with the beta version of the software, I hope he does not take offense at me.
Just yesterday, faced with the problem of one of the subscribers of the forum "http: //player.ru" after installing the beta version of the software, its Shanling M2S turned into a brick ...
Collective mind of the forum users found a solution to return the player to working condition, the utility "Ingenic Cloner" was used, technical support Shanling did not remain without participation, I quote their answer:

"Have you ever tried the Brush tool to update M2s?

I have a solution to the problem you can have a try ,Put the 1.10 firmware file into the memory card and Press the play button about 10s. Then M2s will go into the mandatory brush interface..."

Here is a link to this utility "Ingenic Cloner", user manual and firmware for Shanling M2S:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B09fkvjsphC7dWNfdk56WjZTejQ/view?usp=sharing

Thus, there are two ways to solve the problems with the firmware, if it arises.

The app disconnect from M2s when I browse the net via chrome. If I use any other app the connection remains and I can use it right away, but if I'm browsing, I have to reconnect to M2s and search for music from zero. The playback does not stops, just losses connection. I don't know if a app issue or it's my phone.

Besides that, I'm very satisfied with this excellent feature. I guess it helps with battery life on M2s since the screen is always off and extend the life of the knob to.

Hi guys, need to give you one update on M2s and our beta firmware in case you would wish to downgrade to older firmware:

We find out one problem when trying to downgrade to older firmware on M2s. If you wish to downgrade, don't use "system update" feature in setting. Instead, put older firmware on SD card, turn off player and then press play/pause button for 10 seconds. This will force automatic firmware update and your M2s unit will be downgraded without problem.

New version of Beta firmware should be ready next week and will fix this problem and other small errors.

Yeah, same thing is happenign to mine. We still have many problems like this in front of us to fix ebfore we get out of beta phase....

It would be useful to be able to add songs or albums to the currently playing cue rather than just to a playlist. Still a very nice addition to the already impressive M1.

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure if we can set up HiBy link to do something that's not working on player itself. But will definitely check with our guys, because this would be really useful.
