Hi everyone, is there a one unit device that is amp / dac that is R2R and has lots of power

I am search for a high end unit

I know audio gd has few, but wonder if there is another brand that is one device dac/amp R2R based and powerful to drive power hungry headphones

Well there is the dcs Bartok, this is an ultra high end device, but basically all you need in one.
Bartok is streamer, dac and amp in one.

Audiovalve offers their Luminare and Solaris also with integrated DAC, however I am not sure if D/S or R2R.

Audiobyte Hydra.vox is a great price Performance high end component.

There probably are even more

Audion GD is in the process of refreshing R2R DAC line with USB full galvanic isolation and a simple clock synchronisation - no resampling on USB - and some other improvements, first time seen in DI-20. It is an essential upgrade. Take a look: http://www.audio-gd.com/En audio-gd.htm

that is very interesting, so powerwise the audio gd r28 can it drive even a hifiman he6se

Holo Audio Cyan (R2R)
Myst DAC 1862OCU (multibit)
Soekris 2541 (R2R)

I am not sure how powerful these are, but you can check it out yourself.
thanks, but I like to know form owners bout how well such amp/dacs are driving hard to drive headphones instead of just relying on specs, as that does not always tell the whole picture

Also you can check reviews of he6se and note what amps they use for the review. One of these was performed on NFB-1AMP: https://www.soundstagesolo.com/index.php/equipment/headphones/176-hifiman-he6se-headphones

Exactly the same amplifier is implemented in R28. This is the lowest powered amp in the Audio GD range (if not counting entry level R2R11). R27 has the amp taken from the Master 9 series. When only the output power counts, the most cost effective solution is not R27, but a combination of a separate DAC R1 with a new A-2 amp. There is no reviews for A-2 so far.
