@alexdemaet has one listed in classifieds. Maybe they can share their experience with them.

I'm looking into Stax alternatives, and found these on a single website https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/audi...ctrostatic-headphone-hifi-silver-p-10321.html
I cannot find a single review anywhere and wondered if anyone had any experience with them. Thanks in advance.
It's true I am selling an alternative to Stax: the Kingsound KSH4 and I am also selling a Stax energizer which you can connect to a headphone amp. https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/kingsound-ksh4.63965/

Well, electrostatic headphones sound a bit different then regular headphones. They make me think more like the sound of a speaker. I have not tried a Stax headphone yet so I can't say anything about that. The Kingsound KSH4 looks a lot like the KSH3 and this one has been reviewed here on head-fi. I can say also that electrostatic hp's need some more power compared to the dynamic hp's. Both the loxjie p20 and the Meier audio Corda Soul had more then enough power to drive the KSH4. I also connected the KSH4 straight on a speaker amp. I didn't find the speaker amp connection pleasant because it reveiled less details in sound. Sorry for my bad English
