Job Summary: We are seeking a Sales and Tech Support Associate.

Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions, resolving technical issues related to hi-fi audio equipment, and ensuring superior customer service.

This is a Full-time, in-person/onsite-only position. No hybrid or remote options.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.• Listen attentively to customers' audio preferences and requirements to recommend suitable hi-fi audio products.• Provide comprehensive information about product features, specifications, and benefits.• Demonstrate the operation of audio equipment and assist customers in making informed choices.
2. Sales and Product Knowledge:• Stay current with the latest trends and developments in the hi-fi audio industry.• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product catalog, including amplifiers, speakers, headphones, turntables, and associated accessories.• Effectively communicate the value and advantages of different audio equipment options to customers.
3. Technical Support:• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hi-fi audio equipment, including connectivity, setup, and troubleshooting.• Offer guidance on optimizing audio quality and configuring audio systems.• Collaborate with manufacturers or service centers when advanced technical support is required.
4. Tech Support Hotline:• Provide remote technical support to customers over the phone or through online communication channels.• Assist customers with audio equipment setup, software configuration, and troubleshooting.• Maintain detailed records of tech support interactions and resolutions.
5. Sales and Inventory Management:• Assist in managing inventory, including restocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.• Monitor and report on product demand and customer preferences to the management team.
6. Customer Service:• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns professionally and promptly.• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and follow-up support.• Handle customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the shopping and tech support experience.
7. Merchandising and Store Maintenance:• Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, ensuring products are well-presented and appealing to customers.• Help maintain a clean and organized store environment.• Assist in setting up product displays and promotions.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field like Engineering is a plus.
• Strong passion for and knowledge of hi-fi audio equipment and technology.
• Must be passionate about music and understand its importance in the lives of customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales experience in a retail or electronics store is preferred.
• Technical proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting audio systems.
• Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to lift and carry audio equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management is advantageous.
