Hello Head-Fi Friends,

@kilkil generously posed the idea to hold a meet at his home!

Here are the details from Tom:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Date/Time: October 14th, 10am - ?

Location
: 1847 Puckett Point Rd, Smithville, TN 37166 (about an hour east of Nashville, TN)
Best approach: I-40 to Exit #273 that is TN56 South. Cross the bridge, then Pucket Point Rd will be on your left.
Tom's house is a ways down Puckett Point Rd, on the left side.

Parking
: The house is on the left side of the road with a driveway that can hold 4 cars (2 must be compact). Across the street there is a light blue garage, that is also mine, it has another 6-8 parking spaces, plus parking on grass as needed.

Food
: I'll have something to eat, not sure what yet (possibly chili if cold outside, or grill something if it is warmer out). It's OK to bring food and drinks to share, as long as you keep them separate from the electronic gear.

Beverage
: Alcohol is allowed, even encouraged!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

How awesome for Tom to invite us to his home!
Post the gear you will bring, and I will post it here for all to see.

Here's the link to the impressions from our last meet in Spring, 2016:

Looking forward to see everyone again!

I received a PM today (10/5) from Kevin @Wildcatsare1 and he might attend!

How about Saturday October 7th, with the 14th as a alternate date.

I would prefer the 14th.
Annette is at Disney World on the 7th.

I could do the 14th but I will in Asheville for the 7th.
i had to lookup our last meet to see if you were there. I think i know who you are based on your comment about my setup and not able to get resistors for the Dynahi.

North side of Smithville, TN. The house is on the lake.
Nice spot!
We ride to your area often, usually up 96 and across the dam.
That's a nice ride. Watch out for the bikers.

Assume you're west and south of the lake...

There is a very fine restaurant in Cookeville, maybe 15-miles away.
http://crawdaddysgrill.com/

The food is great. Real french bread from New Orleans.
They know how to fry shrimp and fish. Not your usual middle-TN place.

Thanks. It has been years since I've been to craw daddy's, next time I'm in cookeville....

I'm on the south side, but not so west. I'm at 1847 Puckett Point Rd. / Smithville, TN 37166

I might come over from Knoxville. Let me check my work calendar tomorrow.

w00t! Another Knoxvillian!

I'll do my best to make it. 7th is Brewer's Jam and I work with my Tennessee Valley Home Brewers club so 14th is definitely better.

I finally got my Gungnir upgraded to multibit, just got it back 9/15, got the Fiio X5iii but it's broke :frowning2: and at Fiio for repair.

Any sign of Brunly?

Headphones
MrSpeakers Ether C 1.1
Shure SE535
Shure SRH1540 (Been thinking of selling)

Sources
Dell Latitude Windows 10/Ubuntu dual boot with JRMC 23
Schiit Gungnir Multibit USB 5
Schiit Bifrost Multibit
Schiit Modi 2 Uber

Amps
Schiit Mjolnir 2
Schiit Asgard 2
Schiit Magni 2 Uber

Portable
Fiio X5iii (if it's back from repair, I hope they fix it, touch screen stopped working.)
iBasso DX90

I'll probably just bring the Gungnir/Mjolnir stack and my portable stuff. Rohan has my Bifrost and if he comes he'll bring his I'm sure, besides have to put the USB 2 board back in it. SWMBO has the Magni/Modi stack and Rohan has Modi Multibit, again if he comes.
