I just realized I am no longer able to post photos from Imageshack using "embed image" or "embed thumbnail" function, presumably due to discontinued BBCode support.  This Truly Stinks !

Just use HTML code
 
example:
 
<img src="insert url here" alt="insert some random text here - gotta always have alt value iirc">
 
thumbnail:
<a target="_blank" href="insert fullview url here"'><img src="insert thumbnail url here" alt="asdf" border="0"/></a>
 
you put that in while looking at the source by clicking Source in the textbox toolbar.

Yeah, it truly sucks hard time!
Like others I do not know html that well, and hence struggle to write hyperlinks, embed pictures, bold text, ... which were plain easy with BB code.
 
Please bring it back!

It's kind of working, but the new Head-Fi website is acting very strange at times. For like 50% of the time, I could not paste links with control-V, but it would work at other times. Sometimes I could not even get a cursor to appear on the reply box to type anything, and the text box is cutting off my words in the middle, not continuous, so I couldn't see what I'm typing. After I "submit," I can see the words that were cut off. I want the old site back
