Where to purchase and download hi res music?

So I've always downloaded all of my music files from various websites and groups that I was a member of. These sources have dried up for the most part, or I've extracted all of the albums and songs I wanted.
I don't stream, my library consists of large files on SD cards. That's what I'm looking for, whether it be full albums or individual songs. I'd like to simply download it onto my computer, and transfer it onto my SD cards.
I don't mind paying a monthly fee for a streaming service, so long as I can purchase music permanently, that doesn't have to be listened to through the streaming service. I'm not even sure if such a thing exists, but if it does, please let me know. Much appreciated.

My go-tos are bandcamp (a lot of artists upload flacs), and if I can't find something there, the Qobuz store (as opposed to their streaming service) has most things.

Try Qobuz you can stream and purchase at the same time. Quality better than Tidal.

Great guys, thank you. So with Qobuz, I can purchase and download options straight to my computer, and transfer to SD card from there? Don't have to listen to purchased music via Qobuz? Any idea how good their rock and metal options are? Decent amount I hope.

I second Bandcamp. It's predominantly less popular artists, not too many famous ones (in my experience). There are also some free albums/songs on Bandcamp occasionally which are usually the ones I take advantage of (downloaded in flac of course).
