@JasonNYC Any movement in getting Roon ARC to work again on the SP3000? This was one of the major reasons why I bought the device.
Unfortunately not yet. I have been speaking directly to the Roon team about the issue. Was told their support and dev teams are aware of the issue and working on it. They are supposed to share an update soon.

I’m not using that particular IEM but is using the SuperMoon with excellent results. How are you liking the Trifecta?
I have them now for 4 days and before I spent few hours with them at the local dealer in Zagreb testing them with various Cayin desktop dacs and amps.

My impressions so far are extremly positive:
  • Huge dynamic sound
  • Analogue feel
  • Amazing note weight and timbre
  • Scales beautifully with higher end amps
For me its all about having different experience with different IEM’s depending on my mood.

Curently they compliment my Pathfinder which is a 2DD + 4BA hybrid amazingly and I am also considering getting the new Moon Rover which is the CA planar (I think it should have a more neutral sound signature compared to Supermoon).

Greetings All

Anybody using the AK CD Ripper Mk2?
Yes, I have the AK CD Ripper Mk2. It’s so easy to use and transfers the music without any issues. The only downside is that it can take a fair bit of time especially if you’re doing WAV files.

I don’t like trifecta - this is not my sound signature, but it sounds great with sp3k 😁

looks and sounds great
What case is that?

Thanks. I just placed an order for one and hopefully the process will be faster when ripping as flac.

The ripper doesn't come with a power source, . What do you use?
I have an Anker Quick Charge 3.0 charger. I use this on the SP3000 anyway and so I used it on the CD Ripper too.

I also have the CD Ripper MK II and it’s a really nice well built product.
It can be a bit of a grind to rip CD however the system is great at making excellent rips and accessing the TOC to get the album art from CDDB and it’s all seamless.
Yes it a labor of love but once the process starts it’s all seamless it makes its own cd rip folder. I use WAV and depending on the quality of the cd sometimes purchased at swap shop etc I’ll use error correction which can also lengthen the process. Enjoy

It is simple. Sp3000 is great DAP in dynamism, musicality and details. Se300 is another of ak boring players. 😂
SP line is AK, other line is not AK :)
