4 inches wide is similar to the M1060C cup, but what I would need to see if the M1060C cup would work is the distance between the center of the screws. You could flip over your closed back cups for your Tres and measure from the center of the screw hole to the center of the next screw hole. Then I could compare that to the M1060C's screw hole distance.
Cool, I'll get this for you after work today.

I don't know if anyone has owned or owns LTA gear. They recently released a new headphone amp and DAC. The DAC really peaks my interest. It has an R2R ladder DAC and incorporates LTA's ZOTL technology. The DAC is the AD1865. The tubes are the 6SN7 and 12SN7.

From middle to middle of the screws measures 3 7/16.

Did you measure diagonally? I measured from 1 hole to the adjacent hole. The M1060C cups are at 2 11/16" or 68.26mm for that distance.

Edit: The diagonal measurement for the M1060C cups is 3 3/4" or 95.25mm. So, they wouldn't fit on your Tres at 3 7/16" unfortunately.

WOW - Ride

I just want to share this one. It is the title track from a 2018 album that I found on one of Toms favorite DAPs. I have played the album many times during the 4 years that he has been gone.

The Paper Kites - On The Train Ride Home. Maybe he was listening to this on the train home from work sometimes... it was his travel DAP.

Really like this version, big fan of Gary Clark's fret work plus Ms. Ward does it justice as well:grin:

I leave you with a little gansta:wink: Yes even an old man like me can appreciate a good artist of any genre:v:

Sorry to hear about your husband! I guess we haven't shared a thread in at least four years.
