Sale of my broken Audeze stuff to help fund new ones

about a year ago i broke my beloved bamboo LCD-2s, pulled off the stand when i forgot i had a portable amp now that was in my pocket, so i listened to some new ones and then settled on a pair of LCD-2 closed as the only pair i found i liked more were twice my budget, then on saturday when i went to go shopping i put my cans on and no sound in the right side, investigation shows something pierced the membrane somehow so the driver is toast

here we have my LCD-2 Closed backs, bought ex-demo last year after the LCD-2s died from a hifi store in glasgow (if i remember correctly, it was an online purchase) they seemed for all intents and purposes to be brand new, since then theyve seen daily use till they got decked last week when something popped the right driver, left side is still fully functional

cosmetically they arent terrible, theres a scratch on one earcup and they have seen a solid year of daily use but they still look decent (ill try and show any marks in pics best i can) the original cable (never used as i had a balanced cable from my original pair) and flight case are also included. as with the others price is a guide i have no idea what to ask so accepting offers

500+ Head-Fier
You know Audeze will replace the drivers and it's not prohibitively expensive. If you love the sound you should probably send them in for repair.

i know i got quoted when i broke the first pair, a refurb would be £500 plus shipping, they also offered a discount on the new style headband if i wanted to buy it, instead i bought the essentially brand new "ex-demo" LCD-2 closed back for £550, so while its not restrictively expensive it is close to a nearly new full set with cables, case, new style headband etc

as it is ive managed to land a pair of Oppo PM-3 to hopefully get me by till i can either get a new set of LCDs or save a bit extra and get a pair of Meze Liric (hopefully this is better than last time when i got the very disappointing DCA Aeon Flow but the PM3s seem well regarded even now so i hope theyll please my ears enough)
