Dan Clark created some excellent phones with his Mr. Speaker line culminating in the final TOTL, The Alpha Prime. Very open sounding, especially for a Closed back design. I have always found them to be very musical
with good bass impact and detail. Beautiful gloss paint, like on a luxury car.
The leather is in near perfect condition, these are very comfortable headphones. Fixed retail selling price was $999 for the phones. Excellent price, very good quality open sound even though closed back design.
So I have the headphone, original cable, original box and the metal headphone stand and a new lower price.

NOW OPTIONAL: is the WireWorld Nano Silver Eclipse UPGRADE cable that I previously had packaged together with the phone at a higher price.
The MAGIC this adds to the phone is immense and well worth the close to $600 original cost of the cable and they are not easy to find. Top Tier to be counted on.
I had previously tried the Dan Clark Audio Vivo upgrade cable that retails for $300. It was quite good & recommended but is left behind when compared to combo with the WireWorld Nano Silver Eclipse.
To the BUYER of the phone the cost to add the WireWorld Nano Silver eclipse cable to the sale would only be $135.00 additional as a combo special and takes priority. I heartily recommend it. It really is a steal in the combo buy.
To reiterate the car paint finish is beautiful and makes them a real stand out.
These are one of my real favorites but I must continue to downsize the collection as I will eventually be in a smaller apartment. It’s a Great combo.. sonically able to compete with current $1,000 phones. I know as I have had a lot of the competitors. The real leather pads are virtually new and Dan Clark still stocks them at a mere $69 retail/pair if you want a back up.
Buyer contributes $18 towards shipping.

The WireWorld silver cable I am offering separately now was a little over $600’alone, retail and well worth it for the upgrade in sonic performance. ADD THIS & the Alpha I am selling is truly a hot rod in the best of terms. Well past the performance of a stock cabled Alpha and really good looking to boot. The red lacquer finish is like a mirror.

**If anyone other than the headphone buyer is interested in the WireWorld Nano Silver Eclipse I will negotiate a separate fair price but not the giveaway price that a buyer of the combo would pay.** Termination is for DC/Mr. Speakers pins/screw on. You could always reterminate for some other phone which i have previously done in other situations, it is their next to TOTL headphone cable and hard to find.
