In your opinion, which dap has the best low frequency extension, sp2k or sp3k? I’m talking about how low the bass can go, not about the quantity of it.- bussola

Astell&Kern To Debut SP3000T DAP and NOVUS IEMs at CanJam NYC 2024
This is gonna be another bad harsh sounding dap like 2000t,these models will never sound good like a flagship unit , they are tuning them to be inferior sounding and I had the sp2000t. I preferred the sa700. Now I have sp3000 and I am happy.- bussola

Of course, this goes without saying for me. Also, no dar, no eq, no crossfeed, in my case 3.5mm unbalanced output. Anyways, let me just say one final thing and I’ll stop posting for awhile. I’m no casual listener, I am very obsessed by the tiny details of sound reproduction, i am also a sound...- bussola

Exactly this! It’s unintentional. The fact that the sound keeps improving, means it is strictly related to system stabilization. as the machine performs better, the processes are more efficient, then it must also produce a better sound. A neat trick I recently discovered is to convert any 24bit...- bussola

Regarding width soundstage, to me it is very slightly less expansive from left to right, but at the same time the sound has gained substance, it was wide because it was stretched like a transparent film, kinda thin if you ask me. I really like the new sound, it is quite impressive and the bass...- bussola
