    The discovery thread!

Such a good point. When will the market be over saturated to the point where people lose interest? I believe it's already past the point of over saturation, but I know there's also a group of folks who look forward to literally every release. The way I see it, nearly every company releases good...

    The discovery thread!

Amen, I like that. We absolutely do discover more about the hobby and ourselves through the power of music and all the different ways to enjoy music. Whether that's a simple tip swap, or an entire new set of IEMs or Source, the point is, it's all a journey and you never stop learning or...

    The discovery thread!

Fantastic question, I'm not sure? I try not to express my opinions as fact because that comes off as being pompous and overall, just very out-of-touch with reality. How could you truly know something is false without objective evidence and vise-versa? Also just thinking out aloud here.

    The discovery thread!

LOL I'm trying to think if I believe in anything in terms of audio that is completely false...? hmm I was a cable believer, but that quickly ended when I went to CanJam and tried multi-kilobuck cables and thought "These sound the same as my $20 NiceHCK cable at home..." Anyways - Like I said...

I too find that higher gain results in slightly better sound. NOW, could it be placebo? Absolutely. But do I care? No lol Just like cables - Whether you're a believer or not, I've always come to conclusion that if you buy a fully copper cable and you hear a warmer sound with mellower treble...

    The discovery thread!

Hell yeah, brother! Do you happen to live in the US?! There's a clone on Amazon Prime that I bought recently that feels EXACTLY the same as the Whizzers but EVEN cheaper... Happy to link you to them. Interestingly, I can't find the listing on Amazon, even the order is gone from my purchases! Weird.

ahhh man, the stem is definitely a little tight on those, I have to admit but I was still able to squeeze them on the Monarchs which has a pretty big nozzle! I ultimately went with the Azla Vivids, which, I think is probably my favorite tip I've ever tried at this point. They have the same...

    The discovery thread!

Yes! those tips are really interesting and to your point, similar in shape to the Clarions. The differences that I found is that, for my ears at least, because the widest part is still the stem and not the flange, it could get uncomfortable with deep insertion because of how stiff the stem is...

    The discovery thread!

Really? Interesting... I was super disappointed with the W1s as I felt they reduced bass response quite a bit, I know it probably comes down to anatomy but they just didn't work for me. Weirdly enough, the Omnis worked for me a lot better, they seem to be the same material as the W1s, but with a...

    The discovery thread!

Super underrated post! Tip rolling is probably one of the most important aspects of this hobby. The Clarions have always been a hit for me on most IEMs, they're such a killer tip and really not that expensive, thank goodness! Another really underrated tip I discovered earlier this year...

Symphonium Titan - Impressions and reviews

Later on this month, I believe I'm going to have the Crimson, Meteors AND the Titans in hand all at the same time thanks to my audio buddies in my tour group and I cannot WAIT. I think all of us have noticed that each IEM from Symphonium has a special sauce characteristic about them and they all...

Lostnamerica was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was more than reasonable during the short negotiation process and literally shipped out the amp the next day. Stellar guy to work with!

    The discovery thread!

Man, I know I am so far behind on this thread but I was scrolling through the pages trying to catch up and I knew I needed to reply to this one. I am so sorry for that, brother, that absolutely sucks. I can only imagine if something like that were to happen to my Monarchs.... I would cry lol I...
