Poll: Who uses an iRiver H1x0 with digital out?
This is the most enlightening statement on 24/96 on rockbox I've read so far, thanks! However the iPod's DAC are capable of 24/96, see: tech info of the DAC used in 1st and 2nd gen pods the datasheet of the DAC used in 3rd gen pods I'm not sure about the current generation of ipods.- ElEsido

Poll: Who uses an iRiver H1x0 with digital out?
Check out this thread and the links therein and this discussion in the rockbox forum for more info on 24/96 on the iriver. Since to my knowledge the DAC chip in the ipods could handle 24/94 there might be interest for a high res rockbox version beyond the iriverH1xx comminuty.- ElEsido

misticriver.net shut down?
Too bad. Let's hope they give the forum's database to a third party to host or open the content. Would be too bad if all the information on hacks, mods, repairs etc. were lost.- ElEsido

misticriver.net shut down?
There is a rumour that misticriver.net was shut down. Can anyone confirm or - hopefully - deny that? Closing that site would be a real loss, they hat tons of useful information in their forums.- ElEsido

Oops... After posting I've opened the thread in a different browser and using a vpn connection, and the pic was there. Aparently that was not a suitable way to check if the pic is displayed. Anyway, imagebam.com seems to work.- ElEsido
