Let me be very specific, if I buy the SR-007MK2, what will it take from a headphone amp?

How does one go about shopping for a headphone amp? What are the specs you look for? How does one determine the needs of their headphone ? How do you identify amps that meet those needs through the amp specs?

Stax SR-007MK2 what are some considerations for amps to drive these? Recommendations and why?

I'd like to put together a headphone system around the Woo Audio WA6 SET Class A Headphone Amplifier. Can someone recommend a SACD/CD transport and DAC to compliment? 

 

It's pretty easy to do a knock off.    The Vtrue is not in "liquidation phase."  It is at full MSRP on their website.    Also, when product is liquidated it still goes to authorized re-sellers.    I am not saying your headphones are not Velodyne, I am saying that I would not believe them...

Who did you buy them from? We paid the same price, it may have been the same vendor. 

I forgot, the stiffness and weight was so insane it was hard to believe even for a terrible knockoff. The earbuds that came with my Blackberry are better. It was better than the ear buds that came with my Iphone though.
