Even the shop where I buy my stuff said the same thing, susvara not the best match with the tt2, a burson soloist gt is already better sounding. Susvara is kind of power hungry it seems. A hifiman 1000 is a better option

it is not a awfull streamer, just it makes quite the big difference if you use a higher quality streamer (but that does not come cheap, but neither is a tt2 or mscaler It is more that it is a shame if you don't use something better than a zen stream, when you already in that league of high end...

Why don’t you order all sets classics en vivids, and try a combination, and only keep which you like? Sent the rest back. I just tried one pair of vivid v7 classics in the input buffer stage which was quite nice together with the vivid v6’s in the rx gt.

Get a any astell and kern with akm chipset, and the u12t shines (just listen to them af the shop the other day). With sabre I thought the match was less.

It is a hard decision. The qutest definately benefits the mscaler, and it get’s at some regards (not all) better than the tt2 (but with the qutest you need a decent headphone amp too) The headphone amp in the tt2 is amazing Now when you at the mscaler to a tt2, it is heaven, I like it even more...

For it’s money the zen stream is a bargain, but no match for a lumin, eversolo a8, hifi rose or innuos. I own the zen stream as well, but even with a upgrade psu, no match for the higher top streamers I use now

My opinion regarding closed back, I still have to hear the first one where I don’t hate the pushed in your face Bass. I only like open back headphones or IEM with pressure release build in like fir audio or 64 audio.
