Hi all, just wanted to chime in that the Sonata works well with the new iPad Pro that has the USB-C port. Works exactly like you would imagine, just plug and play. I don’t know what bit/sample rate its playing at though.

I prefer the low end reproduction of the SR over the S, sounds better controlled and faster to me. Also, cable microphonics is horrendous on the S, thank goodness Ety improved the cable noise on the SR/XR

The early batches of ER4SR/XR did not come with a small pouch. Later revisions include the small pouch. I know this because I received 2 ER4SR units. First one in June 2016 and the second one this year.

I too prefer the ER4SR over my K10. The ER4SR sounds more natural although I still reach for the K10 when I want something warm and musical sounding, they’re still awesome for vocals. I do feel in terms of timbral accuracy, the ER4SR better.
