Recommendations please: wired headphones for in the office (not too big)
Thank you everyone for your recommendations. One of you suggested the audio technica ath m50x and this made me realise I own one of these. I use them occasionally for DJ-ing (they fold over-ear so are ideal for this) and had never thought of them for non-performance listening. On trying them...- sinbarambam

Thanks @HiFiWar...I'd never heard of the Shivga's. They certainly look the part. But none of them seem particularly small. Is there a specific model you had in mind? I'm drawn to the ETA Ada. I like the idea of supporting a smaller startup. Still not as small as I'd like but at least they fold.- sinbarambam

Thanks for the recommendations so far. I should have mentioned in my post that IEMs do not work for me - I've never been able to get used to them. I like warm ears ;-)- sinbarambam

Recommendations please: wired headphones for in the office (not too big)
I sometimes work in a coworking space and currently use my Sony earbuds. They're fine but I'd like somehting better. I have a small (tiny!) iFI go Blu and have been taking my Sennheiser HD800s. Of course this sounds great but I look like a dork, plus they're a pain to carry because they're...- sinbarambam

Audio source
Hi @bland125 - thanks for your reply, really appreciate it. In order to get the cleanest USB signal out of the laptop and into the DAC, would you recommend adding a usb-sdif converter (like this one: https://www.stereophile.com/content/musical-fidelity-v-link-usb-spdif-converter-0) And as for...- sinbarambam

Hi everyone, I have a Stax SR009 and a Woo Audio GES (hoping to upgrade the latter at some point). My source files (mostly FLAC) are on my NAS and on my laptop and I'm using a Cambridge Audio streammagic streamer. I am hoping to upgrade my system by getting a Chord Qutest DAC What would be...- sinbarambam

Please critique my proposed new setup :-)
Thanks both for your replies. What I meant by the 'meditative' comment is that I do not listen to my music in busy, noisy environments, such as while at work or while in the gym. This set up would be for when I make time to sit down, undisturbed, in a quiet space and really listen to the...- sinbarambam

Please critique my proposed new setup :-)
Hi guys I currently have a Little Dot MKIV with an Audio Tecnica ATH-1000 Grandioso and a Fiio X5. I've always found this setup a bit underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it's fine, but I've been saving up, to move up. I am considering a Moon by Simaudio headphone amp with either Audioeze...- sinbarambam
