Do you think it would be possible to have a choice to increase font size in settings? Not all of us are 20 years old!- fiddlesticks

Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
My SR35 is in for repair for about 3 weeks now. A stuck pixel from the time I unboxed it. Just want to report to the group. I actually have no issues with one stuck pixel but think it will lower the resale value when I want to upgrade in a few years so I decided to send it in.- fiddlesticks

Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
Thanks for your detailed reply! So would you say overall that the Tidal app is less likely to be buggy than others? I would gladly subscribe to Tidal if there were a marked benefit. Apple Music sounds fine but can be slow or laggy at times and I have had to reset or reinstall it because of...- fiddlesticks

Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
Hey, thanks for your reply. For the 1st question I meant is there any benefit to updating to the latest APK or could it actually be a bad idea? (Maybe the A&K rep could answer this one?) For the 3rd question I have the same problem, the case causes me to stop or skip by accident when changing...- fiddlesticks

Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
Hi all, just bought this player a month ago and am really enjoying using it but have a couple of questions for the more seasoned A&K aficionados: 1. Is it a good idea to download the latest APKs to the device or to use the version (Apple Music for example) provided on the firmware and wait for...- fiddlesticks

Uh huh, doesn't matter what you think, what if it were you? How would you feel if this were your post? You put suspicion into the mind of the buyer before they have even had a chance to contact me. As I said, if you want to find out if I'm real or not, why not contact me rather than writing...- fiddlesticks

Just because I’m not a person who often chats on the website doesn’t automatically mean I’m fake. This is 100% real. Why not keep your sophomoric comments to yourself?- fiddlesticks

Official M3 firmware download and discussion thread - FW1.9--new UI theme, various UI improvements
Yes, I had this problem as well. I solved it by trying different USB ports. It seems to be picky about USB ports and cables. I think I had to try another cable AND another port. Yeah, Fiio SUCKS because it looks like they will never do a decent firmware update for this player. Well, don't...- fiddlesticks

Official M3 firmware download and discussion thread - FW1.9--new UI theme, various UI improvements
Hi, just bought this player for use at the gym because of its small size. However, is it not ridiculous that it can't read tags properly? And that it has a hard time with album art? Honestly, what is wrong with this company? I have had at least 10 different music players over the...- fiddlesticks

Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
As far as I know it has something to do with residual files from the previous version conflicting with the new version and wasting power in the background. Anyway, since the ZX1 is mostly used as an audio player, for most people there isn't as much tweaking to do after a reset. It's worth it...- fiddlesticks

Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
It just resets the system to the out-of-the-box settings. Erasing the music will not happen unless under "Settings/Backup & reset/Factory data reset" you scroll down to the bottom and tick "Erase USB storage". From now on after each update, I will continue to reset the ZX1 to the original...- fiddlesticks

Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
Hi, I was having similar problems with battery drain. After checking around on the Internet I found two things which helped improve my battery life significantly. Sony NWZ-F806 mini review (& F-series player reviews / impressions / discussion)
Quote: Noise cancelling is kind of artificial sounding to me. If you want to cancel outside noise, IEMs with good fit should do for most people. If you're worried about that, I'd buy the player first and then take it with you earphone shopping, and try it out with different earphones in...- fiddlesticks

Sony NWZ-F806 mini review (& F-series player reviews / impressions / discussion)
Yes, if you think CDs sound better than 320 MP3s, than you will think FLACs sound better, because the player sounds as good as hooking up identical headphones directly to a CD player's headphone out jack. Quote:- fiddlesticks
