You would not. The Pianist is beyond sibilant. I've not heard anything this sibilant in a while! My ears was in actual pain after a while And others reported the pianist is similarly sibilant.

IMO if these sound "clearly cheap" the Zero/Khan has even worse drivers, by quite a significant amount. There's a reason I got rid of my Khan. And they were 4x the price!

PR2 V2 MUST BE USED with foam tips. No two ways about it. Castor won't reach PR2 details but it isn't far off. PR2 honestly sounds better properly driven from low impedance outputs. Don't need that much power on mine! Very dead sounding off high impedance. It's just what PR2 should have been...

Huge fan of the rumble. Out of the box it was DDUU, perfectly fine. I don't hear any sharpness from it that I do from the pianist Using TRN T tips, stock foam should be even lower treble, I think the treble from castor is fine, pianist isn't fine.

I haven't had any QC issues in my many many years of buying KZ. Except for ZS5 v1 after I dropped it. the DQ6S however... glad that the furore made KZ reinvent themselves But it also opened our eyes since other manufacturers were also using additional drivers in the same exact way as KZ did...

Try Jcally AP90. Also on a sidenote, it sounds very flat out of a high impedance source (i.e phone) It will sound very different with a low impedance source such as that dac/amp

It isn't just Vrms output, it is also whether its a low or high impedance source There are also high output but HIGH impedance headphone amps (the high impedance is on purpose, for example the beyerdynamic A1 has 100ohms)

Both are high impedance sources. They will sound very flat. I have a CCA version of the AZ09 Pro and it definitely isn't good, sounds like my phone but worse, loud yes but enjoyable absolutely not
