Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
Here's my review of the KZ ZS10 Pro 2. Long story short - one of the most resolving and most enjoyable IEMs that 50ish dollars can buy.- crabdog

Meze Audio’s newest single-DD IEM - ADVAR
I don't know what your idea of "affordable" is, but the ddHiFi BC130A is a fantastic cable and is available with MMCX connectors.- crabdog

YULONG Aurora, small but perfectly formed AIO DAC/Pre/HeadAmp
It's ideal for the headphones you mentioned and you don't really need to go balanced. It does get quite warm but nothing extreme.- crabdog

Review by 'crabdog' on item 'SeeAudio Rinko X Z Reviews'
Design When I unboxed Rinko, my first thought was how much it resembled the Truthear HEXA. The aluminium faceplates and translucent 3D-printed resin shells share a similar matte black finish and feel. The slim shells are not only aesthetically pleasing but also exceptionally comfortable...- crabdog

Review by 'crabdog' on item 'Tinhifi C5'
The Tinhifi C5 is a hybrid dual-driver earphone with a unique driver configuration. It has 1SPD (square planar driver) and 1BA. In this review, I’ll be taking the Tinhifi C5 through its paces. It’s priced at $79. Disclaimer: This sample was provided by HiFiGo for an honest review. All...- crabdog

Hardly surprising. Nowadays, I tend to look at IEMs with filters and switches as failed experiments. If you're going to do it, do it right!- crabdog

Here's my review of the upcoming KBEAR Pecker. I normally would not enjoy someone's pecker in my ear and this didn't change my sentiment. However, it does have some strong points - the bass is pretty epic! https://primeaudio.org/kbear-pecker-review/- crabdog

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Very musical. The bass doesn't feel compromised for clarity in any way. There's more but I don't want to give up too much info before my full review (and haven't done any critical listening yet). :smiley_cat:- crabdog

Meze Audio’s newest single-DD IEM - ADVAR
Let me put it this way: I chose the ADVAR as my reference universal IEM to take to CanJam Singapore (I have an absurd amount of IEMs to choose from). Super comfortable, super musical, detailed, nuanced etc. They are exquisite if you're looking for something to simply enjoy your music. If you're...- crabdog

The Watercooler -- Impressions, philosophical discussion and general banter. Index on first page. All welcome.
I didn't find the time for the new Andro or Trifecta but I did spend some time with the Solaris. Long story short - I was underwhelmed. I heard some sharpness and a lackluster bass. In addition, I found the detail retrieval fell short, despite the overall tonality being rather bright. I will...- crabdog
