Just play around with the EQ until the sound out of that little (and amazing) box gets satisfying enough. That’s the key of life (and actually of audiophilia in general :wink:)

The HB4 from Fiio is excellent for holding the KSE1200 (energizer and IEMs) and, in my case, the rest of my system: Qudelix 5K and Fiio interconnect cable.** This case is awesome!! **Little dog not included with case nor KSE system

After trying both pads (I think I prefer the synthetic leather ones) I’m curious about third party options. Has anyone tried these with some ZMF pads?

I still haven't received my KSE1200 but I'm planning to use my Qudelix 5K as a DAC, EQ and BT receiver with LDAC. I suspect they're going to be a great combo. I'll come back with my impressions.

This should always be an option. Being forced to pay $400 for a cable is completely nuts. I'm on the fence of buying a MEST, the only thing that keeps me from doing it is the fact that I know how much I'd be paying for just a cable... this is something that goes against my principes...

Maybe a silly question, but, is it possible to buy a MEST without the cable? 400 for a cable? I rather save that money or give it to charity :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Apparently there's a "Realm of the Sky" edition in the works (confirmed by Fiio today in their FB page). Does anyone know what are the differences between this "RotS" edition and the regular one? Just the color...

hmmm, actually they’re quite efficient and you can drive them perfectly practically from any decent clean amp.

It's really well made and works and looks really nice even without anything attached to it.

Looking for replacement cables on Aliexpress I stumbled upon this L shaped mmcx... coupler(?) and I think it’s a cool solution for using third party cables and BT adapters with Etymotic IEMs. Do you guys know about similar products like this maybe at a more affordable price? Thanks...
