I have reviewed the D8000 PRO in the past. I found the D7000 to have more warmth and smoothness. It is very musical.

Amplifier technology is the same as the V340 series. Maybe a couple of tweaks. Class AB as always. Exact power output not yet specified.

The Cayin booth was really amazing. They had a lot of stuff to listen to and everything sounded great. Didn't shoot a lot photos but the sound was amazing. Especially the speaker set-up.

I am not sure. I guess that it was with the stock tubes as I tested it at the Munich High End show. It should sound quite different from the Echo because the Cayin is transformer coupled amplifier. Also more versatile in headphone matching.

Finally, I had the chance to listen a few tracks with the composer. Neutral - bright with good bass extension. Guess who was sitting next to me.... @Nomax of course 😀

Can't say anything more about the sound without seriously listening to them.
