Go to schiit.com and check out Bifrost. It's not available till end of August, but if you can wait it represents great bang for the buck.

Metrum Mini DAC Quad 290e ex shipping, aprox $385. Seems to get some very good reviews

Considering the bigger brother "octave" with psu myself.
A few lines down on the forum;
