I am planning to use my iPhone 8 (no jack port on this phone) with an AKG K872 on the go. Using the default 3.5 mm jack audio cable I would need connect it to the apple lightning to jack adapter which then connects to the phone. Seems like a clutter.

Are there any other possible connections between the headphones and the phone that are simpler? A 3 pin Lemo to Lightning cable would be great, but I havent found such a product. A portable bluetooth adapter could be an option, so there would be no cable connected to the phone, but the iphone does not support lossless bluetooth connection and this setup would require an extra device, the bluetooth adapter. An bluetooth module that attaches to the headphones like the one for the Hifiman Deva could work if it would exist for the akg k872.

I dont want to use a portable audio player next to my phone.

Does anyone have any suggestion?
