Amp for Sennheiser PCX 480?

Hi there,

So I have this overear-noise cancelling headphone, the Sennheiser PCX 480, for which I have always wanted an amplifier. Just until yesterday, when a friend of me told me that amps aren´t really recommended for noise cancelling headphones. I first planned to buy the Schiit Fulla 2 AMP/DAC.

Would it make any difference / is it worth it?
