I think the main reason is smoother / faster UI due to improved specs, definitely 4.4mm if you're using that and a different Quad DAC setup that provides different sound sig.

For that budget you have a lot of other DAPs to play with, I mainly chose the SR35 for it's portability (slipped into my laptop sleeve / jeans pocket) sufficient battery life and for some reason the UI comes naturally to me, it's my first AK by the way (For cost reasons) LOL.

Thats true. Rabbit hole.

Issue is my head. I got SR25 for 300$ (with case too), but I want better (brain dmg audiophile probably). Yet I know it wont be worth for the 3-5x cost increase...

I should stixk with sr25, sound wise its very good for me anyway.

The SR25, SR25 MkII and SR35 all use the same processor (RK3326) and DAC chips, although the SR35 is quad-DAC instead of dual. Also the SR35 adds 5 GHz wifi.

Sorry, I thought I had replied. SoundCloud actually has always been supported, but at one point they changed the login authentication requirements to require Google Play Services to be installed on the device. Since AK does not have Google Play Store on our devices, it will not work correctly. There was a point where you could still do a few things on the app after they added the requirement, but a pop up message shows on screen every few minutes. I haven't tried it in a while. I did just install it and still see the Google Play Services required message pop up.

So unfortunate that i buy sr35 bcoz ive heard my friend that he can stream soundcloud from his sr35...
Can you contact soundcloud & make it avalaible again?
