Posting here information on the forthcoming Audio-Technica AT-BHA100 & AT-DAC100 amp/dac. Audio-Technica Taiwan now have it listed on their site (full specs in links). Waiting on price, but I'll be keen to place an order.

Edit: more information from AT China here and here. Official launch date seems to be October 8th in Taiwan.

First review from a Taiwanese site here. Pictures below. Looks compelling.

Seems like the current price for these is 23,900 Taiwan dollar for the DAC and 33,900 for the amp.

About 700 € for the DAC and about 1000 € for the AMP https://themoneyconverter.com/ES/TWD/EUR

Aesthetically, I like very much the amp and it's multiple conecctions. I think it's price is fair... Waiting for reviews. Thanks Nostoi

Yes, seems to be the case, which seems perfectly reasonable to me. At 1k, I guess the amp can't compete with the earlier HA5050H but who knows.

More details are coming out on Audio-Technica's Chinese social media here. And a nice little evolutionary path below.

The pricing seems very fair for current market.
I agree. I just hope there's no significant compromises to achieve this cost (hopefully it's made in Japan, too).

There's a reasonably active discussion on the amp from this thread in China. As someone points out on this thread, one oddity is that the actual DAC component is not balanced - RCA only. That's a mystery to me, given that they're obviously meant to be paired together and Audio Technica are selling this as a fully balanced amp...

Looking at these amps too. Will wait for someone to review this
Well, since you're in Hong Kong you may have access to it before anyone else. More here. As soon as I can find an actual retail outlet for it, I'll grab it.

Available here in TW.

In Hong Kong, here for dac and amp.

Neither seem to ship internationally, alas.

Is so strange... No balanced output from the DAC and an Amp fully balanced...

I actually just asked Audio-Technica HK about this and will let you know if they reply. It's a mystery.
