I'm looking at getting an ibasso dx120, wondering if I should get a balanced cable for my hifiman 400i's. Typically I like to use my little dot I+ with these headphones, obviously this would render the balanced output useless. Would I be better suited using the little dot and skipping the balanced output for best sound quality? Obviously when I'm on the go this isn't an option, however my 400i's don't really leave the house either.

The second question I had was about dual DAC's...is it just a marketing gimmick to charge more?
