Yo, I'm curious as to what this author's note is referring to in the newbie's guide. For those of you that haven't read it, context is the article states portable amps are not going to drive your headphones properly to get what their worth out of em. I'm curious as to what amps are being referenced here. The sub $200 portable amp shootout was written two years after this newbie guide, and I'm curious to see an update now over 7 years later.
