So I have the Focal Clear and the Hifiman Ananda. I have an iFi Audio Zen Dac Signature v2 and a Feliks Echo mkII.

I also have a Gold Note DS-10 Plus but thats mainly plugged into my speaker system.
Therefore I'm looking for a solidstate headphone amp for my desktop system so that I dont have to constantly move the Gold Note back and forth.

Was previously looking at some more budgetfriendly alternatives but I'm increasing the budget.

For my headphones which would be a good match do you think?

Kinki Audio THR-1
Burson Conductor 3 Performance
Fiio K9 Pro ESS
Cayin IHA-6

I'm leaning towards the Burson most myself after reading forums and reviews.
Anyone with input about these alternatives? And maybe with experience together with the Clear and Ananda?

Best regards Johan

Focal Clear and similar low impedance planars get used with my K9Pro AKM from time to time.
The ESS and AKM share the same amp circuit.

It`s a solid AIO, and there is value with the dac/preamp/gain functions to explore a little more.

With the Burson you get into the op-amp-rolling which you might find a bonus.

Thanks guys! :) I have since I wrote this topic been using my Gold Note DS-10 Plus instead of buying something else and also upgrading it with Gold Notes external power supply.
