Hey people,
Hope this post belongs here, I didn't know where to ask for advice on this.
I bought these 4 tubes from a seller on Ebay and I am just wondering what the different letterings mean. Why is one tube EAP, the other EDT and what are AAE tubes? Also, is there a way to tell the age of each tube? I am not sure if they sound any different from each other but would love to know if there are supposed to be any predictable differences when interpreting these letters.
The tube on the left is also a little different from the others with the diagonal lettering, also, the dome is much rounder.
I would greatly appreciate any help!

I'm guessing that they are date codes and/or factory codes, but to be sure re-post in this thread and you will get a definitive answer from our resident tube experts.

It appears that the tube on the left is also missing a ceramic spacer on the bottom.
