Going for a $799 price as the second IEM Cayin is launching is quite ambtious. It has to get outstanding reviews to be a success, because the first YB04 was not and it has some very heavy compettition in that price bracket.

Lol - have you even heard it? The yb04 didn't get much exposure but it was the better iem over the Blessing 2.

What was interesting is that most reviewers that received them belonged to different circles - making them more credible than other reviews I've read.

True, yb04 didn't get the proper acclaimed success, but it's pretty solid around the price range.

No, never heard it (contemplating to get it, my local dealer has a demo at 50% off).
I have seen many praise it, but it never got the sales or hype like other IEMs. It may be the bass not that present, but as a pure BA IEM, you know that it is not a bass head IEM.

Only 3.5 cable? Doesn't make sense since most of us will be pairing with Cayins own C9 and 4.4,2.5 is a must with adapter, everyone does that now and C definitely has all the parts in already

Yes only a 3.5 cable in the box. A high quality one though.
