Im looking for a really smooth dac. Does anyone know aside from the tube output, are there other features on the mk2 that gives a smoother sound? Like different phases?

The miniature tubes are soldered to the circuit board. Skilled technician should be able to replace them but they are not user-replaceable like those larger tubes in Vacumm tube amplifier.

Can someone tell me difference between Cayin iDAC MK2 and Cayin CS-100DAC ? They both have tubes and solid state timbre mode, but considerable price difference
Is CS-100 worth the price difference? looking at specifications, iDAC MK2 actually has better specifications in tube mode than CS-100 tube mode!
Well for starters, the CS-100 uses dual ES9038 Pro chips, has more inputs/outputs, different tubes, different clocks (I think), plus a more advanced analog preamp stage. I'm sure there is more but that's what came to mind initially.

That's pretty much what I've concluded. I thought I saw mention of it being 110/220 compatible but I could be wrong, and I don't see a rear panel voltage switch on the pics. I do see it available to order in the UK but nowhere in the USA.
I think Cayin HQ makes a distinction between their "Traditional" high end stuff, which has only briefly been available in the USA over the years, and their more recent "personal audio" line which includes the iHA models and the Cayin DAPs - those have been available online for the USA since they first came out.
Just completed a full review of the iDAC-6 MK2 with a short comparo with the Topping D90 and Qutest. I do prefer this one over the MK1 by some margin and anyone coming from their E01 motherboard will enjoy the sound.
Hey Guys, I ran into a driver issue on Windows 10. I installed Cayin's 4.47.0 driver on my PC but the driver is not detecting the iDac-6 over USB. My PC does recognize the iDAC as Tidal app can play through it.
Can anyone be kind enough to help me troubleshoot the issue ?
