There is a huge different between 50,000 to 108,00 RMB vs 16,000 RMB which still certainly isnt cheap. That 50,000 RMB quote was certainly either a bad joke or a gross early marketing error. That would make R2R2000 look like a bargain.

To me 16,000 RMB is certainly not cheap but not the most expensive. It will put it right next to WM1Z.

Lets just hope that figure was an error made due to unfamiliarity with local currency. I don't think the market of 10,000 AUD dap (quoting the lower figure) is ever going to be a realistic thing. That is the price I expect their flagship DAC be, not a DAP.

Wow, not joking there. I have been keeping an eye on Cayin because of the N5ii and secretly hoping they would come up with something similar at the higher end, but this is an unexpected jump. Curious to see what the N8 will turn out to be considering the value of the N5ii.

In order to be that expensive they will have to come up with something revolutionary,not seen before in the portable audio world, especially as Cayin is not big name like iBasso, etc.

Me too! But i expected more of a step up from N5ii at about 5-600 Euro/Dollar. (kind of DX200 killer...).
