For the past couple of days I am searching all over the internet for the best headphones. And on some chinese sites I stumbled on some chinese manufacture called "iSK". They have couple of really good headphones in their production line. This model "iSK HP2011",  http://www.micsdirect.com/isk_hp2011.htm looks like a PRO80, same ear cups, same cable, but without a case. Driver is 32ohms vs PRO80 60ohms, I cant't find what do they say how it sound.
There is also a "iSK HP2010", or "HF-2010" which is basically a takstar HD2050, same ear cups, but driver is 60ohms. They should have more bass than the hd2050 due to the 60ohms, but I can't find any review of them http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13502914741&ali_refid=a3_420435_1006:1103903434:6:isk:0edbb4cd7695f76efff566c8b2eb92ce&ali_trackid=1_0edbb4cd7695f76efff566c8b2eb92ce

This model also has catch my attention "iSK HP-980",  http://www.swamp.net.au/studio-monitoring-headphones-closed-back.html , but I can't find much informations or review on any or the english sites. I found on the chinese sites and with the help of a google translator it seems they don't have enough bass. But I am not sure. It's also 32ohms.

All of them are on the market for more than a year and can be bought directly from china at about the same price as the HD668B. HP-980 is the most expensive of all of them. Did anyone tried any of those? Thanks

Edit:
Here is their manufacture site, it took me a while to found it: http://isk.en.alibaba.com/
Chinese do respect them a lot, is seems they make stuff for other brands like AKG, Sennheiser, etc....

Most "no-name brand" Chinese cans that look like well-known headphones are either knock-offs (bad), or rebranded OEM versions (good).

They tend not to be discovered unless someone e.g. from head-fi actually buys a pair and compares against the similar branded headphones though, and most people don't like to risk so...

I found on one chinese site  interesting comparision  with fiio 14 amp for this hp 980 http://blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=kaist1973&logNo=149524797

so, its true they have a lack of bass without amp, but look at the results that hd 681 scored. Some guy on some post also mentioned that cable is not good, he changed it and got a better bass. Its hard to figure  using google translate since all the informations I found were only on the chinese sites.

I'm currently in Beijing and had the time to explore their electronics "city" and found a number of ISK and Takstar goods. The chinese guy that I talked to(I was helping someone buy some Shure/AKG mics) rather me get a "proper" pair from the old school guys but as curious as I was, I asked to look at the HP-980(also called AT3000) and the dealer told me it was essentially a AKG 271 clone(which also happened to be on the shelf), I don't know about the 271's sound but damn it sounded pretty right for the price(300 rmb I think) and probably rivals with phones at the $150 mark.

Looks like a CAL! One classic clone. The Edifier H840, $21, is a similar CAL! clone and has the same form factor as well as sound signature.

I own both the Edifier and CAL.

The ISK HP-980 appears to be similar to the SuperLux 662/9 as well.

The ISK 960b appears to be a V6//7506 Sony clone, but I do not own a pair. That's from just looking on TaoBao.

I don't see a resemblance betweend edifier and cal or between isk 960b and v6?

Sorry, got confused about which hps I was referring to. I was alluding to the fact that, like the CAL/Edifier, the ISK looks much like the SuperLux 662.

The SEM6 is great! I just got them in and they sound very good.

How would you compare the Takstar Pro80 to the Somic MH463?

Hey Guys today while browsing through ebay for headphones I found this which looks exactly like the ISK HP-580 design wise and spec wise and ordered a pair but the only difference is that this have 50 mm Ferrite Drivers instead of the 50 mm Neodymium Drivers that the ISK HP-580 have. Here is the link to the manufacture's website: http://dpstage.com/headphones/dps351-headphones.html but this manufacture is based in Australia. Here is a link to the ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321429462484?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Here is a pic:

So what do you Headfiers think about the sound quality between Ferrite and Neodymium Drivers?

BTW will post a review on the headphones shown in the pic above once i receive them and give MHO on these in comparison with the ISK HP-580 which i also happen to have a pair lying around. :)
