Released this summer (June 2021), the clariar i640 is an in-ear monitor made in Japan. Each side is equipped with a six-balanced armature configuration. Arranged as 2 x low, 1 x low/mid, 1 x mid, and 2 x high

features
porous filter
A dual driver by Knowles with modified vent hole is used to accurately reproduce bass line with deep excellent reach. And arranged with high-density porous filter which acts as a conduit, this allows for the reproduction of a clear low range (removing fuzziness), and a denser body without affecting the phase characteristics or drivers in other bands
pressure optimizer
The rear cavity pressure optimizer was also added to help relieve the pressure inside the earphone housing, consequently optimizing the amplitude of the low-frequency driver. As a result, low frequencies were able to be rendered with little distortion and good responsiveness
composite housing
And with the use of a wider 3D-printed composite housing structure, each driver unit can now be better fixed/held with the chassis independent from one another. Allowing the sound to pass the conduit more 'freely' minimizing unintentional interference between bands
lightweight durable full-metal body
Uses a CNC machined and sandblasted anodized aluminum alloy housing for achieving high body strength all the while maintaining a light weight for comfortable wear
simple minimalistic design
The faceplate were designed by combining simple circle and straight lines, and the two-tone matte color make for a timeless appearance. The gloss of the surface were sandblasted with particular grain size to adjust for the shadow and reflection when exposed to light. Giving the i640 that calming feel
genuine leather carrying case
The i640 comes with a carrying case made of genuine leather that feels soft to the touch
easy-to-use cable
A slender cable that is supple, easy to handle, lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time
specification
driver 6 BA
impedance 14.2Ω@1KHz
sensitivity 97dB@ 1mW
range 5Hz~25KHz
price
122500 yen (~ US$1100)
