Would love to hear your thoughts on the sound signature, looks like this or MHDT are the only options for R2R with Tubes. 12AU7/12AX7 tubes are something some of us have already around with other tube gear so rolling will be easy. I wish they had Balanced outs but that can be done accomplished by passive converters easily.

My initial thoughts are that is is quite linear and detailed but with a hint of that tube goodness, it's more noticeable in the bass, giving it a slightly more natural punch and body rather than a little drier kick that "neutral" tuned DACs have.

It's incredibly enjoyable to listen to and completely fatigue free, but without sacrificing detail which is nice.

Nice! I own and MHDT Orchid and Padisea, will be fun to read the comments when some MHDT owners buy one of these.

Interesting! Conceptually similar to the MHDT and Border Patrol DACs. Surprising that there is no top vent for those tubes, but what do I know...

I've had it running for a few hours and it doesn't seem to get very hot, there's quite a bit of space which likely helps with heat dissipation.
