I was similarly impressed with the Little Dot amp. Bass in particular surprised me. The JAR660S off the Schitt BiFrost 2 and Lyr+ was also fantastic--really composed.
The Trafomatic Head 2 had a lively richness about it that was truly intoxicating. I get why that brand has achieved legendary status.
The A281 has to take the crown for best value. It punches WAY above its weight from a SQ perspective.
Finally, I was really taken by the Hedd Audio HEDDphone. I tried the new version at CanJam but couldn't properly assess it because it seemed to vacuum up all the show noise. The original, in the quiet setting of our meet, however, impressed. Great clarity while sacrificing nothing in richness. Surprisingly easy to drive, too.
